Orientation to sustainability, finance & taxes – with a view to future generations
I combine a scientific perspective with practical experience and show how sustainable action becomes economically sensible and practicable in everyday life.
Clear, fact‑based and constructive.

Sustainability, finance, taxes
Professor at the TH Rosenheim - Campus Burghausen
Prof. Dr. Andreas Fieber
I deal with the question of how sustainable decisions succeed in everyday life and in organisations – economically sensible, comprehensible and feasible.
In doing so, I combine a scientific perspective with practical experience and place value on objective classification instead of quick opinions.
Focus areas
// 01
Sustainability
I classify what sustainability concretely means in business and society – beyond buzzwords.
With a focus on impact, feasibility and long‑term perspectives.
// 02
Taxes & levies
Taxes are not purely a “technical subject”; they are a central lever for behaviour, investment and distribution.
I explain connections clearly and in a structured way.
// 03
Finance & administration
How do we make decisions that are financially sensible and at the same time responsible?
I combine economic logic with a view toward sustainability and future viability.
// 04
Good life (constructively thought)
Besides facts, it is also about attitude: perseverance, optimism and a realistic perspective on what we can influence.
Formate
Depending on the occasion and audience, I work in different formats – from keynote speeches to teaching and further education formats.
The content is tailored to the context, audience and question.
Lectures & keynote speeches
Stimuli, classification and perspectives on sustainability, finance and taxes.
Guest articles & interviews
Contributions for media, specialist formats or podcasts – clear, fact‑based and understandable.
Workshops, teaching & continuing education
Structured work on terms, relationships and decision logic; interactive and practice‑oriented.
Consulting / committee work
Professional classification and support in selected fields.
Sustainability Handbook 🇩🇪
The Sustainability Handbook provides a structured classification of a multi‑layered subject – from conceptual foundations to concrete courses of action.
It spans the arc from key global agreements, a status quo and forecasts to measures for a sustainable world.
The book is aimed at students of economics and social sciences as well as people who are looking for orientation.
A wonderful introduction to a subject whose societal relevance should by no means be underestimated!

Comprehensive overview
I recently came across the link to this book and downloaded it immediately.
Whether I will manage all 350 pages remains to be seen, but I have already discovered some information and food for thought that will certainly support me in one situation or another.

Compact overview
Compact overview, especially the last chapter on the future is worth reading.

Career path
From practice through teaching to sustainability – in stages.
The beginning
Practice & responsibility
I have spent a large part of my career in the private sector.
The work in internal auditing was particularly formative for me – there you learn to look closely: to understand structures, identify risks and justify decisions cleanly.
International assignments have also sharpened my perspective: not as a tourist, but right in the middle of real business processes.
The turning point
Management → professorship
Later I was the commercial managing director in a company that sells construction machines.
This period was extremely work‑intensive and associated with a lot of stress.
At the same time, I had had a clear wish in mind for a long time: to become a professor.
When the opportunity arose, I took the step consistently – also because at that moment it was clear to me that it was about impact and content, not about status or salary.
Today
Professor & thought leader
Today I work as a professor and thought leader at the interface of sustainability, finance and taxes.
In teaching it is important to me that students not only take up knowledge, but can question, present and discuss critically.
That is why I deliberately rely on exchange and group work – because communication is part of competence.
